Brent Brower, as an affiliate of Lee Hecht Harrison, designed and led an initiative to improve the coaching skills of Human Resource Business Partners in the General Bank. The desire of the initiative was to further prepare the HR professionals to become true business partners with the other executives running the business. Over 80 HR business partners attended one of four 3-day sessions of the LHH Coach the Coach program. Brent was master facilitator for the program and orchestrated the support of 5 other coaches in this highly interactive learning process. Follow up small group telephone coaching for each of the participants was provided for 3 months after the 3-day sessions to support integration of the learning and case study reviews of their actual coaching encounters.
