Milliken is one of the largest privately held textile and chemical manufacturers in the world. They are also leaders in developing their associates through their own Milliken University. A priority for leadership development at Milliken is creating a coaching culture within the organization where all leaders coach and develop associates well. Brent Brower and HR-DNA has been conducting Corporate Coach U’s Coaching Clinic Workshop for leaders with all management team members at each of their manufacturing plants. This 2-day program provides practical tools for coaching and developing others that these managers first practice on each other. They leave the workshop not only with a new skill set. They leave with action plans to address many of the challenges they face and a better sense of how they can support each other as a team.
